This Callryt contract is binding on the customer upon acceptance of Callryt’s LTE service. Callryt reserves the right to amend this contract from time to time. The latest version will be available on the Callryt website.
2. Availability of Terms and Conditions
Contract may be viewed on our website at www.callryt.co.za.
3. LTE Antenna Requirements
Callryt fixed LTE services may require the installation of an external antenna to obtain an adequate signal or improve service performance. Where an antenna is required, the cost of the antenna, installation and any associated equipment will be for the customer’s account unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Best-Effort Service
All Callryt LTE packages are provided on a BEST-EFFORT basis.
Callryt cannot guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, signal availability or specific speeds, as LTE performance is dependent on the underlying network provider and various environmental and technical factors, including network coverage, distance from the base station, network congestion, signal strength and equipment.
Callryt will not be responsible for loss of data or loss of connectivity resulting from the absence or interruption of an LTE signal supplied by the underlying network provider, including Vodacom, MTN or Telkom.
5. RICA Requirements
All applicable RICA requirements must be completed before an LTE service can be activated.
No LTE service will commence until all required documentation, verification and RICA processes have been successfully completed.
6. Cancellation and Return of Equipment
Upon cancellation of an LTE service, the customer is responsible for returning the supplied SIM card, router, MiFi router and/or any other Callryt-owned equipment to Callryt’s place of business at the customer’s own cost.
If the equipment is not returned, the customer will remain liable for the applicable monthly charges until the equipment is returned or any outstanding equipment charges have been settled.
Cancellation will only be processed where the customer’s account is fully up to date, including the applicable one-month cancellation period.
For a 12-month LTE contract, cancellation may be requested during the contract term, subject to the applicable cancellation provisions and charges. Equipment must be returned at the customer’s cost and must be in working order and in reasonable condition, fair wear and tear excepted.
7. Coverage and Service Availability
Subscription to Callryt LTE services is subject to LTE network coverage being available at the customer’s specified address.
A Callryt sales representative can assist with checking available coverage before the service is activated.
Where a customer requests service in an area at or beyond the normal coverage area, despite being advised of the coverage limitations, the service is provided at the customer’s own risk.
8. Change of Location
Callryt LTE is provided as a fixed broadband service for use at the approved service location.
Should the customer relocate the router or service to another address where LTE coverage or service availability is inadequate or unavailable, Callryt cannot guarantee connectivity or performance at the new location.
The customer must contact Callryt before relocating the LTE service to another address.
9. Areas Outside LTE Coverage
Callryt cannot be held responsible where a customer requests or uses an LTE service in an area that is not eligible for LTE service.
